We all just want to be free.

And with RV life we feel more free than ever.

New smells, new trails, new sights, new experiences, new people, new places.

We love that RV life allows us to travel full time and bring our adventure pup Azalea along with us everywhere we go.

🤩Did we miss anything!?

Like many other RVers, what started as a 1 year journey doing RV life has quickly progressed to a never ending bucket list of destinations we want to RV.

We have now visited 36 National Parks and 34 states, taken our RV to Newfoundland, and are headed up to RV in the Canadian Rockies this summer.

Now in year 3 as full time RVers, our conversations seem to go something like:

Well in year 4 we could do this… and then in year 5 we could do this! Well what about this place!? Guess that could be year 6! 🤣

There are just so many amazing places to see!

After becoming full time RVers, our main hobby quickly became hiking.

Prior to RV life though, the thing we loved to do most was golf.

As we prepare for an upcoming golf trip that we are super excited about, we have gotten the dust off our old college bags and fallen in love with golf all over again.

Which is easy to do when California golf courses are this beautiful 😍

What we meant is:

If you or your adventure partner love climbing and the freedom to explore off trail you will definitely want to add the Fiery Furnace in Arches National Park to your bucket list!

❕HOW TO RESERVE A FIERY FURNACE PERMIT:

👉🏻Reserve your Fiery Furnace permit on recreation.gov. Your permit must be picked up in person

👉🏻Permit Cost: The self-guided Fiery Furnace exploration costs $10.00 per person ( you can opt for a ranger guided tour for $16/person)

👉🏻Permit Pickup: Head to the Arches Visitor Center the day before or the day of your trip between 8 am and 4 pm to pick up your permit.

👉🏻Educational Video: Be prepared to watch an educational video at the Visitor Center with all members of your hiking party present before your permit is issued.

👉🏻Navigating: Be aware that navigating the Fiery Furnace can be challenging due to its natural labyrinth of narrow passages. GPS units do not work well, we highly recommend having an offline map downloaded

👉🏻Reserve Early: Permits frequently sell out quickly during the busy season, so make your reservations well in advance.

👉🏻No groups larger than 6, no children under 5, and no pets allowed

👉🏻Permits are valid for specific dates and for day-use only (sunrise to sunset).

👉🏻Reserve your permit online at least two days prior to your trip date, with a maximum of seven days in advance

The Fiery Furnace was our favorite hiking experience during our RV trip to Arches National Park.

There is so much to explore in the rocky landscapes of southern Utah and it truly feels out of this world.

The Fiery Furnace should be on your bucket list!

We finally made it from Florida to California! A

We finally made it from Florida to California!

At the end of January we headed west from Florida to start our RV journey out to Big Bend National in Texas and then up the west coast as we make our way to the Canadian Rockies for the summer.

The start of our 2024 RV trip was a bit rocky with some unforeseen maintenance issues and circumstances that led to a whole bunch of changes to our travel schedule.

As RVers it is super important to keep your plans carved in jello 😜

And at the end of the day, waking up in places like this really makes the who adventure of RV life worthwhile 💛

Calling these beautiful places in nature our backyard will never get old.

One of the main reasons we decided to travel full time in our RV is to be able to hike in beautiful places all over North America.

We honestly were not big hikers before we starting to travel full time and now hiking completely has our hearts.

We are always adding new hikes to our bucket list, have invested in backpacking gear to take on longer trails, and spend most days after work out on the trail.

Spending time in nature has been the best way to relieve stress, recharge, and improve our overall health and wellness

Everything just feels a bit simpler when all there is is you and the great outdoors 💚
